A fundraiser jamboree dedicated to raising funds for the 3rd year fine art students’ degree show. Join us for an eclectic mix of acts ranging from jazz and swing dancing to psychedelic folk and pole dancers!
5pm – Swing dancing workshop
6pm- 7pm – Jam first big band accompanies a swing dance
A student-led group, made up of both Falmouth and Exeter students, playing a variety of music from classic jazz to pop classics. Expect funky bass lines, smooth solos and groovy tunes.
8pm- main doors open for the evening bands
8:30pm- ELLA! and friends
Painter and singer-songwriter Ella weaves heartfelt storytelling into her music, blending folk influences with intimate, expressive melodies. Joined on stage by loving friends, she creates a warm and immersive musical experience that invites listeners into her world.
9:15pm– Man sized creature
The project of producer Sam Judd and visual artist/songwriter Felix Jupiter, MAN SIZED CREATURE is a dynamic and evocative foray into jazz, folk, psychedelia, spoken word, Eno-esque ambience and underground dance music.
Two people huddled around guitars, synthesisers and tape machines creating the sound of a vast ensemble, bringing back stories from the dreaming.
10:15pm – Poppy show
Currently on their headline UK tour Poppyshow brings distorted thrashy guitars, groovy bass lines and desperate drumming, pushing souring vocals and pop melodies. They released their debut EP ‘Trials and Tribulations’ at the end of 2024, and with comparisons to Nirvana, Red Hot Chilli Peppers and Arctic Monkeys, they bring a grungy intoxicating energy that is impossible to ignore.
11:15pm – Falmouth and Exeter pole dancing society
The Falmouth, Exeter pole society bring you a round up of the night, featuring an impressive array of dance and acrobatic skills from the students of the university. Their performances never fail to make audiences "ooh and aah" as they showcase their incredible strength, talent and flexibility.
